150 students from Luxembourg had the opportunity to communicate with the Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, who is in the ISS – International Space Station.
150 students lived a unique experience at the Luxembourg Science Center in Differdange… exchanging via video conference with an astronaut, live from the ISS – International Space Station. Together with other students from Italy and Portugal, pupils and students from the Lycée Michel Lucius, the Lycée des Arts et Métiers, the Lycée Fieldgen and the University of Luxembourg asked questions to the Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, for about 20 minutes.
The event was organized by Esero Luxembourg, a joint project of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) and the Ministry of Education. Its objective is to raise students' interest in STEM, science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
