ESERO Luxembourg - Event and communication manager

ESERO LUXEMBOURG (European Space Education Resource Office) is a joint project of the European Space Agency, the Luxembourg Space Agency and the Ministry of National Education whose objective is to arouse students' interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by using the theme of space as an inspiring context. The project is located at the Luxembourg Science Center in Differdange.

 

The LUXEMBOURG SCIENCE CENTER in Differdange is a discovery centre dedicated to science and new technologies. It welcomes students and visitors of all ages. With more than 70,000 visitors a year, the marketing team also needs to be strengthened.

MISSIONS

To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a profile to take on the role of “Event and Communication Manager” for the ESERO Luxembourg project and to support the marketing activities of the Luxembourg Science Center (mainly graphic design and content creation).

 

Your main missions for ESERO Luxembourg

  • Participation in the organization and execution of educational events.
  • Creation of multimedia materials (photos, videos) illustrating our activities.
  • Updating and distribution of various digital (website, newsletter) and physical (flyers, leaflets) communication media.
  • Publishing and promotion on social media: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube
  • Presentation of our activities to schools.

 

Your main missions for Luxembourg Science Center – Marketing Support :

  • Mutual support and collaboration between the ESERO & LSC communication managers
  • Participation & support in the events
  • Support in the creation of multimedia materials (photos, videos) illustrating our activities.
  • Support in updating and creating various digital (website, newsletter) and physical (flyers, leaflets) communication media.
  • Support in publishing on social media (Organic content & Stories) : Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube

PROFILE

  • You have previous experience in communication and marketing via digital and traditional channels.
  • You have a sense of responsibility, are autonomous and organized.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • You speak French and English, with German and Luxembourgish being considered an asset.
  • You have a strong interest in science communication and in particular in the field of space.
  • You are familiar with the various tools for creating graphics and publishing on social networks
  • You are familiar with newsletter creation and web content management tools
