Example of a Standard Visit?
Participants typically start with a free exploration of our large discovery hall, which features almost 100 interactive experiment stations. All stations are equipped with touchscreens available in five languages, and a scientific supervisor is always available to provide further explanations.
Afterward, participants—depending on the group size—are guided to the specific areas of the selected show(s). A show lasts approximately one hour. A visit usually concludes with a second exploration round.
What is the recommended age for visiting the Science Center?
The LSC is suitable for all age groups and backgrounds. Our science communicators always adapt the content to the specific group. However, please note that the science shows are only accessible for children aged 6 and above, while there are no age restrictions for the exploration room.
What are the prices for school trips (primary school, secondary school, private school, etc.)?
For public Luxembourgish schools, visits to the LSC are free of charge. For all other institutions, the following prices apply: €6 per person + 1 accompanying person free of charge per 25 participants (e.g., 52 participants = 3 accompanying persons free of charge).
What are the prices for leisure groups (Maisons Relais, Scouts, Foyers scolaires, etc.)?
The following rates apply to leisure groups: €7 (<18 years, people with reduced mobility, seniors), €14 (adults) + 1 accompanying person free of charge per 25 participants (e.g., 52 participants = 3 accompanying persons free of charge).
How does the billing process work?
After receiving the completed form (see above), we can send you a non-binding offer upon request. You can then confirm your visit. No deposit is required. On the day of your visit, you can pay directly at the reception desk or request an invoice, which will be sent to you in the following days.
Is there a picnic area available?
Yes, we have a designated area with a capacity of 50 people. If you would like to use it, please check the corresponding box in the form above. Please note that for more than 50 participants, we can always arrange a group rotation.
